Without a single hesitation, Gabriel kicked open the heavy titanium doors of the master server room with a violent crash. Five panicked, pale Aegis Council leaders scrambled backward in absolute horror.
Their massive computer monitors were completely fried, sparking and smoking from Tessa’s ruthless viral counter-code. Seated at the center of the room was the arrogant Supreme Chairman, a disgraced former global politician.
"You tried to steal our data," Gabriel stated, his voice a low, vibrating rumble of absolute death that echoed through the dark room. "And you threatened our family's legacy."
The heavily armed mercenaries guarding the Chairman instantly dropped their weapons. They were terrified of the laser sights perfectly painting their chests from the darkness. The ancient, terrifying shadow syndicate was completely paralyzed in a matter of seconds.
