Chapter 15 - The New Horizon And Unstoppable Reign
Two years after the downfall of Flynn Vance,
Apex-Vance Holdings stood undisputed at the pinnacle of global corporate influence.
Mabel Vance was internationally recognized as one of the most powerful and visionary business leaders of her generation.
Her leadership had transformed the company into a beacon of ethical capitalism,
innovation,
and unwavering integrity.
Sitting in her expansive corner office on the sixtieth floor,
she looked out over the breathtaking expanse of Chicago.
The sun was setting,
painting the sky in brilliant shades of gold,
amber,
and violet over Lake Michigan.
Her brother Julian walked in,
placing a fresh financial report on her desk with an appreciative grin.
“Another record-breaking quarter,
Madam Chairperson,
” Julian said warmly.
“Wall Street is officially bowing at your feet.
” Mabel chuckled softly,
closing the report and leaning back in her executive leather chair.
“It's not about bowing,
Julian,
it's about building a legacy that outlasts all of us.
” “And the Leo and Liam Foundation?” Julian asked gently.
“We just opened our tenth maternal trauma recovery center today in rural Illinois,
” Mabel replied with a serene smile.
“Over fifty thousand women have found safety,
legal aid,
and medical support through our programs.
” Julian nodded,
walking over to place a hand on her shoulder with profound respect and affection.
“Our parents would have been indescribably proud of you,
Mabel.
” “I know they are,
Julian,
” Mabel whispered,
looking up at the glowing evening sky.
May you like
“I know they are.
