Chapter 19 - The Global Vanguard

One year later,

the glass tower of Vextor Dynamics in San Diego shone brightly against the sunny coastal sky.

The company had expanded into European and Asian markets,

becoming a dominant global leader in sustainable technology and venture capital.

In the executive boardroom,

Victoria stood at the head of a massive mahogany table,

surrounded by international board members and tech executives.

On the wall screen behind her was a live financial feed showing Vextor's market cap surpassing fifty billion dollars.

"Our new research campus in Munich is fully operational,"

Marcus Vance reported,

stepping forward with a glowing tablet.

"And the Vance Global Foundation has already funded over five hundred scholarships for female entrepreneurs across North America."

The board members applauded enthusiastically,

looking at Victoria with immense respect and admiration.

She was no longer just the woman who survived a bitter divorce;

she was one of the most powerful corporate leaders of her generation.

After the meeting adjourned,

Victoria walked out onto her private terrace overlooking San Diego Bay.

The cool ocean breeze ruffled her hair as she took a slow sip of hot coffee.

Her personal assistant stepped onto the balcony,

holding a sealed legal envelope.

"Ms. Vance,"

the assistant said politely,

"a letter arrived from the state correctional facility in Imperial County."

"It's from Christopher Lawson."

Victoria looked at the envelope,

noticing his messy handwriting on the front.

"Dispose of it,"

Victoria instructed calmly,

without taking the envelope into her hands.

"Does he have any pending legal petitions against the estate?"

"None,"

the assistant confirmed.

"His final appeal was rejected last week."

"Then his thoughts are irrelevant,"

Victoria stated,

turning her eyes back to the vast ocean view.

She had erased every trace of Christopher's toxicity from her life,

leaving behind only the soaring achievements of her own creation.

The past was buried,

May you like

the present was glorious,

and the future belonged entirely to her.
