Three months later,
the Rossi estate looked completely different.
The scorched guard shack had been rebuilt,
blooming rose gardens lined the stone walkways,
and an air of absolute peace replaced the suffocating tension of the past.
In the master suite,
Dominic stood before the grand mirror,
buttoning a tailored charcoal suit that concealed his fully healed shoulder.
I stood beside him,
adjusting his silk tie with calm,
professional precision.
"Your medical clearance is officially complete,
" I announced,
stepping back to inspect my work.
"No more stitches,
no more antiseptic,
and no more gunshot wounds.

Dominic looked down at me,

raising an eyebrow.

" I smiled,

Dominic wrapped his strong arms around my waist,
pulling me flush against his chest as his lips found mine in a deep,
lingering kiss.
The debt was paid,
the empire was secured,
